Layers Of Online Brand Marketing

Fifteen years ago, which isn't very long ago in the grand scheme of things, advertising or marketing was handled in multiple layers. The more layers you used the more exposure you got. The more exposure you got meant there were more customers for you and the more customers you had, the more money you received. Back in the day this was the concept of marketing. Wait a minute, we still use that concept today. Today's marketing concept uses the internet. Some people may still use the television and radio to advertise their product or brand or market themselves, but most everyone is using the internet entirely for their marketing tool. Yes, internet marketing or branding is done in layers as well. Remember, more layers means more exposure. So the old marketing layers were television, radio, newspapers, yellow pages, billboards, flyers and telephone solicitors. Basically anything that would get the written or verbal word out to the people of the country or world. Seventy-five years ago, although not as many media venues were available for advertising layers, they still used what was available. That was radio, newspapers, billboards, flyers, yellow pages, and word of mouth. The reach then, was available mostly in the city or town the marketer was living in and depending on the money available to the marketer, maybe their state and neighboring states. Now years have gone by and technology has gotten better and better. Now we have this great marketing tool called the internet, and still we market in layers.

The layers of online brand marketing include PPC ads, article writing, blogs, press releases, websites, YouTube videos, Craig's List and kijiji ads, social marketing and now text messaging for cell phones. Online brand marketing has many more layers available to any marketer who wants to market or brand themselves or product that they wish. Now the only problem is that not every marketer knows how to use any of these layers to the fullest potential. Now we can market and sell to the world. Of course I am sure that there are marketers out there that will still use the television, radio, and newspapers as well as the internet and all its layers. To get more exposure put your content out in as many layers as you can. You may become a millionaire. You may just make a comfortable income level for yourself. Whatever your choice is, online brand marketing must be and is done in layers. To your layered success.
